Meet Cherri

My education and training includes a Master of Science in Adult Education, BS in Business Administration and certification as a Professional Coach through the Coach Training Alliance accredited coach training program.

As far as I can remember, I have had a strong desire to do something that made a significant impact on others. For several years, I asked myself repeatedly, “What am I here for”. My journey began in 1997, after sitting down and writing out my vision and goals for the next five years. I became invigorated, excited and scared at the same time, but I knew I had to leave my “comfort zone” to become the authentic and Jazzy woman I was created to be. The key for me was, knowing that I had to move in spite of my fears to reach my desired goals.

I recognized I wanted to help people realize their potential , so I started preparing for a new career in training and development. The answer to, “What am I here for” unfolded and my life began to take on a new meaning. Of course, life happens just when you think you have it all figured out. In pursuit of this purpose, I was laid off once in 1998 and again in 2002. The journey was full of waves, but I was learning how to sail my ship in the midst of storms. I did get my dream job in training and development during those stormy times and along the way I discovered coaching.

I realized a new calling: coaching other women. It was the culmination of achieving a dream that was wielding inside. I wanted other women to realize their potential and know that anything can be achieved in their personal and professional life. On this journey, I have learned that being authentic is not as hard as it sounds and I can accomplish anything I set out to do. Having a coach helped me focus on what I wanted and how to go get it.

Coaching is my passion. I enjoy building relationships, helping women “grow” and “glow” with renewed energy and strength. My family, friends, colleagues and clients would say that I am enthusiastic, personable, genuine, and a great listener who easily connects with people.

I welcome the opportunity to help you do what I have done and more….to expand your horizons and live your best life NOW . Yes, it is scary and challenging, but, fun, exciting and full of endless possibilities!
